Tottenham vs Everton: Wayne Rooney slams linesman for ruling his strike offside
Toffees striker wagged his finger at the official - who replays showed got the call right
WAYNE ROONEY wagged his finger at the linesman after being denied an opener against Tottenham.
The Everton striker, 32, thought he had given his side the lead at Wembley with a close-range header.
And he was clearly unhappy to see the linesman raise his flag.
Replays showed the official was spot on with his decision as Roo had strayed offside.
Tottenham then broke the deadlock through Son Heung-min before the break.
Harry Kane added a second after being teed up by the South Korean to see Spurs cruising towards victory.
And the in-form England man was at it again with 30 minutes to play as he lobbed a helpless Jordan Pickford.
Everton fans were quick to point out on Twitter that Kane was marginally offside for his second.

Victory will see Tottenham draw level with Liverpool in fourth, although the Reds can move clear if they manage to get anything from Manchester City tomorrow.
