Stoke look at former Watford boss Quique Sanchez Flores to replace Mark Hughes
STOKE are reportedly looking at former Watford boss Quique Sanchez Flores to come in and replace Mark Hughes at the Bet365 Stadium.
The former Hornets boss is currently working at Espanyol, where the club are 14th in La Liga with the Spanish mid-season break still on.
The 52-year-old was sacked by Watford in May 2016 and replaced by Walter Mazzarri as part of the club's short-termist policy on managerial rotation.
But Flores has plenty of experience, taking charge of the likes of Atletico Madrid, Valencia and Benfica in his career.
And after Mark Hughes was sacked on Saturday, following their 2-1 FA Cup defeat to Coventry, the Potters have the relevant vacancy to fill.
Eddie Niedzweicki is currently taking charge of first team affairs with Stoke while they search for a new supremo.
