Jose Mourinho on hunt for new Manchester United full-backs as he eyes defensive overhaul

JOSE MOURINHO is unhappy with his full-back options and will look to remedy the situation over the next two transfer situations.

That's the picture emerging from Old Trafford as the controversial boss looks to revamp his squad.

The Daily Telegraph reports that he wants to sign a new left-back and right-back over the next year.

Mourinho's mistrust of Luke Shaw, Daley Blind and Matteo Darmian has led to 32-year-old Ashley Young re-establishing himself in the team on the left.

It was Young's shot that Lewis Dunk deflected into his own net to give United a narrow 1-0 win over Brighton on Saturday.

Young has emerged as a Mourinho favourite but his age counts against him.
