Boss gives his players the needle as Gunners help Save the Children for Christmas Jumper Day
Defender Holding got the tactics wrong, ending up knitting three arms instead!
But knit was all for a good cause, with Arsenal supporting the Save the Children Christmas Jumper Day.
Gunners' fans can swap their kit for a festive knit on December 15 to help the world’s forgotten children have a brighter future.
In the Gunners' latest training session at the club’s London Colney training centre, exclusive footage shows Wenger talking through new tactics for the festive season.
He ushers Lacazette, Holding and Chambers to “come in, get closer” as he offers a special team talk.
Wenger explains: “We have been through this. First, we cross, then we weave.”
The players repeat the manager's advice like a mantra before it is revealed he is, in fact, talking about knitting.
And on seeing Holding’s disastrous red jumper, Wenger puts his head in his hands in despair before claiming: “You don’t have to make your own sweater to make the world better.
"On Friday 15th December, join us and swap your kit for a knit.”
This is the fifth year Arsenal have been supporting the charity.
And their superstars have embraced the woolly revolution - with a kit for a knit and a special squad photo.

And the players have even adopted new knit-names, including Theo "Woolcott", "Sweater" Cech, Aaron “Lambsey”, Jack “Woolshere”, "Gra-Knit" Xhaka and Héctor "Baa-llerin".
The Gunners are also launching their first-ever Christmas Jumper for Dogs, as well as a Baby Christmas Sleepsuit.
And Wenger's men with donate their matchday wage at home to Newcastle on December 16 to The Arsenal Foundation.
To help raise more funds for Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day, Arsenalh ave created a range of exclusive festive Arsenal knits for all the family, which each carry a 20% donation of the RRP to Save the Children.
