However, they still sit second, just one point behind the Italian giants - with two wins and a draw.

But, owing to their second-place standing at present, there are just THREE options for the last-16 with their fellow Premier League sides all sitting top.

JURGEN KLOPP'S Reds stuttered a tad to kick-off their European campaign with a pair of frustrating draws.

But back-to-back wins have seen Liverpool shoot to the top of Group E to put one foot in the knockout stages.

Despite topping their group, the Anfield giants aren't certain to face an "easy" task in the last-16, though.

Of the six possibilities available at present, Liverpool could face Bayern Munich, Juventus or Real Madrid.

The other three options are Porto, Shakhtar Donetsk or Basel.

THE current favourites for the tournament, Man City have stormed to FOUR straight wins in the Champions League.

With only top spot to play for, City could also face a tricky test as things stand.

The Premier League-leaders could be paired up with Bayern Munich, Juventus, Sevilla or Real Madrid at present.

Porto and Basel are the simpler of the six options...

They've brushed aside Basel, CSKA Moscow and Benfica already to all-but book their place in the knockout stages.

But a tricky tie could be on the cards in the last-16, with Bayern Munich, Juventus, Sevilla or Real Madrid all available for now.

Porto and Shakhtar Donetsk are the other two possibilities.
