Manchester United star Marouane Fellaini could be on the way out, after Turkish giants Besiktas sent scouts to Chelsea showdown
MANCHESTER UNITED star Marouane Fellaini could be on his way out of Old Trafford, after Turkish giants Besiktas sent scouts to Chelsea for Sunday's showdown.
Fellaini, 29, had been on the radar of a host of clubs during the summer window, with Jose Mourinho unwilling to sell.
The move reaped instant rewards as the Belgian midfielder has been on of United's star performers of 2017-18 so far.
However, that has only seen interest in Fellaini grow more intense, as Besiktas officially confirmed they are chasing the star and watched him on Sunday.
Besiktas club official Metin Albayrak claimed: “Transfer plans never end, we are always working.
“Fellaini is on our list, we have made efforts to sign him but not just him.
“He is not the only player we scouted, our scouting team watched 20 games live this week.
“We are keeping tabs on several players.

“We want to make the signing for the winter transfer window or for the end of the season.”

However, United boss Mourinho has no intention of selling Fellaini.
In the summer window, with fellow Turkish club Galatasaray interested, the Old Trafford chief laughed off suggestions he could leave.
Mourinho claimed: “It’s easier for Galatasaray to get me than to get Maroaune.
"Forget it. He’s too important to me.”
However, Fellaini was spotted in Turkey last week, as a host of Super Lig clubs step up their pursuit.
