Arsene Wenger backs Mesut Ozil to match the best Manchester City can offer
ANYTHING Manchester City can do, Mesut Ozil can, too.
That's the message from Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger.
The Gunners go to the Etihad on Sunday to face the likes of Kevin De Bruyne, David Silva and Sergio Aguero.
And a confident Wenger reckons his German playmaker can mix it with the best of them.
Ozil has been under scrutiny for the past few months while his contract dispute rumbles on.
But his boss says he is still the real deal.

"People speak about Alexis Sanchez but, for us, Ozil's performance will be important as well.
"He contributes a lot to the way we play.
"He can be an asset every time we attack because he's a guy who can create chances."
Ozil needs to be at his best to prevent City soaring away at the top of the table.
So far this season he has created 30 chances in his eight Premier League outings, the same as De Bruyne and two more than Silva.
