Manchester United fear Angel Gomes is Barcelona bound after England Under-17 World Cup heroics

MANCHESTER UNITED fear England Under-17 ace Angel Gomes will be snatched by Barcelona.
Last season Gomes became the youngest player to play for United’s first team since Duncan Edwards.
But Barca sense there is a chance to sign the midfielder who was in England’s U-17 World Cup-winning squad.
Gomes, whose dad Gil played for Portugal U-21s, has been at Old Trafford since the age of six.
But he has often been linked with moves away and the pull of the Nou Camp may be too strong to resist.
At the end of October, Gomes’ dad Gil claimed that all of the top clubs in Europe were interested in his teenage son.
Speaking to RTP, Gil said: "He is the youngest player in the history of English football of Manchester United.
