Tottenham confident Harry Kane will be fit to face Real Madrid as Mauricio Pochettino banks on striker’s return

The free-scoring striker was injured at the weekend and missed the defeat to Manchester United at Old Trafford

MAURICIO POCHETTINO is convinced Harry Kane will be back for the Real Madrid clash at Wembley on Wednesday.

Tottenham have lost their last two games without their talismanic front- man and Pochettino needs him for their Champions League group game against the holders.

Poch’s Spurs side were knocked out of the league cup by West Ham and beaten 1-0 by Manchester United in the league.

But he said: “My feeling is good. But it’s not my feeling, it’s Harry’s feeling.

“With the doctors and the player, we will take the best decision for everyone.

“It’s not the last game or the final where you would say ‘OK, after that it’s holidays’.

Meanwhile, Dele Alli admits he’s “kicking himself” after missing an easy chance to score in the defeat at Old Trafford.
