Jamie Carragher pans meeting of ‘big three’ executives in New York restaurant, joking ‘f*** that douchebag whose going to make the most money’
Former Liverpool defender hilariously posted a caption of the picture on his Instagram, saying: “Hey guys who’s going to go longest without winning the Premier League? F*** that douchebag whose going to make the most money!!"
JAMIE CARRAGHER has hilariously panned the meeting of executives from three of the Premier League's most successful clubs.
The former Liverpool defender posted an image on his Instagram page showing the owners of Manchester United, Arsenal and his ex team.
United executive vice chairman Ed Woodward, Arsenal chief exec Ivan Gazidis, Liverpool owner John W Henry and United co-owners Joel and Avram Glazer were all pictured out in a restaurant in New York.
But the former defender took a pot shot at the three clubs' recent records in the top flight in recent years.
Liverpool, despite winning 18 league titles in the old First Division, have never won a Premier League, Arsenal have won three but their last one came in 2004, while United have won 13 Prem titles, with the last one coming in 2013.

There was speculation the five executives met up to discuss slicing up the pie so that they got a better percentage of the overseas TV revenue.
Carragher also recently backed Marco Silva to fill the vacant manager's position at Everton, after Ronald Koeman was sacked.

He said: "Irrespective of an horrific run of results and performances, it would have made more sense to keep him until Christmas and give him a chance to turn it around.
"Everton are now faced with two options, replace Koeman immediately, which makes Sean Dyche look the most realistic target.
"Or give Under-23 manager David Unsworth temporary charge, trust him to banish any relegation fears and wait until the end of the season to appoint full-time when there will be far more options available.
"Which could bring a target like Marco Silva into the equation -my choice would be Silva, who in a short period at Hull and Watford has shown he has something about him."
