And it's fair to say Poch has a few very interesting quirks.

From a bizarre use for lemons to a particular choice of washing powder, the key is in the details for the Spurs chief.

Check out seven of Pochettino's most incredible secrets, below...

IN POCH WE CITRUS

POCHETTINO has a tray of lemons on his office desk at Spurs.

Does he love a glass of lemon-infused water... or perhaps a sneaky G&T if things get particularly tough?

No, not by a long-shot.

In fact, Poch has the bowl of citrus fruit on his desk to "absorb negative energy".

MALBEC TO HIS ROOTS

ON the bad days, a few of us could easily admit to cracking open a bottle of wine to drown our sorrows... and Pochettino is no different.

In his new book, co-authored by Guillem Balague, the Tottenham boss revealed his love of an Argentinian Malbec when talking about Spurs' 5-1 humiliation at the hands of Newcastle in 2016.

On the loss, Pochettino claimed: "The first thing that I did when I got there was open a bottle of wine and stuff myself with unhealthy food.

"I think I let my frustration out on myself. I ate the lot: crisps, snacks… If we had pizza, some of that as well. No salad.

"The wine was Argentinian: a Malbec. Whenever I am slightly down, I like to smell Argentinian wine.

"It makes me happy and takes me back to my country, to recognisable places, to when I was a boy, the redolence of the countryside where I lived until the age of eight, in that house with an orchard and horses…"

WASH OUT, SPURS

TOTTENHAM stars ought to be careful when weaving amongst the supermarket aisles... Poch is watching.

Or should that be "smelling"?

Pochettino chooses the exact washing powder he wants to be used to wash the first-team kit.

Apparently, he thinks the smell is important for game-day.

COAST IN NEUTRAL

WHETHER you've noticed or not, Pochettino doesn't celebrate goals on the touchline all that often.

Neither does the Argentine look too dejected should Spurs concede.

Poch claims he believes he needs to send the right message to his players.

However, he also added wife Karina will point out he was too emotional should he swing one way or the other during games.

MAUR DANCING

WHILE Pochettino may not do much celebrating of his own, he does urge players to come up with their own celebrations.

Poch is very keen on building-up an unbreakable team, spirit, with self-choreographed celebrations just one aspect of that.

But we all know about that one after the range of quirky celebratory routines we've seen at Tottenham down the years, including Dele Alli's handshake routines.

THE BOSS IS WATCHING...

TALK about Big Brother, Pochettino really is always watching.

The Spurs boss has his staff film his players entering and leaving training sessions.

Amazingly, the ever-professional Poch never ceases to be perplexed as to why his stars always look happier when LEAVING.

On top of that, the Tottenham chief likes to quiz his stars on selected topics from their most recent team meeting if he bumps into them in the corridors... just to make sure they were listening.

POCHETTINO once dropped a player for eating LASAGNE.

As we've already established, Poch is the sort of boss who obsesses over the small details.

Seeing one of his players choose such a "heavy" meal was too much to take for the Spurs boss, who informed the star he would not play the next game.

Poch also once gave Georges-Kevin Nkoudou a warning... for turning up to training on his first day in a fancy car.

The Tottenham boss claimed Nkoudou was not appreciating the "value" of things.
