CARLO ANCELOTTI could snub Everton and move to China after being sacked by Bayern Munich last month.

The Italian, who has won virtually every honour in the club game, has been tipped as one of the names to take over from Ronald Koeman.

Dutchman Koeman was sacked by Everton yesterday after the Toffees were beaten 5-2 by Arsenal at Goodison.

And as SunSport revealed, the Toffees are making enquiries about the availability of the Italian, who has won five European Cups as a player and manager.

And according to The Nanfang Daily, Ancelotti will replace World Cup winning coach Luiz Felipe Scolari.

That followed a stuttering start to the Bundesliga season for the reigning German champions - and the results did not go down well with the Bayern board.

And Ancelotti appears to want a spell away from Europe after his Bayern experience, with a job in China a big money-making exercise, as well as the opportunity for a new experience.

Meanwhile Everton candidates currently include former defender Phil Neville, ex-Dortmund manager Thomas Tuchel and current Burnley boss Sean Dyche.

In the meantime David Unsworth has been confirmed as their caretaker manager for the trip to Chelsea.
