Chelsea fans unhappy with Tiemoue Bakayoko after midfielder fails to dye hair blue following first goal
French powerhouse promised to match his kit and haircut after scoring his first Blues goal but supporters have spotted he failed
TIEMOUE BAKAYOKO has upset Chelsea fans with a broken promise.
The Blues star revealed in a SunSport exclusive that he would change his hair colour once he scored his first Premier League goal for the champions and he produced the goods against Crystal Palace.
But he has turned out in the Champions League against Roma and back in the Prem against Watford with the same white barnet he had before the shock Palace defeat.
The fun-loving midfielder said: “As soon as I score a goal I will change the colour of my hair. Possibly to blue.
“I like changing the colour of my hair from time to time.
“I don’t go completely over the top, but sometimes I find it brings me good luck. Since the Man City game I put some white in my hair.”
HOW OLD? Romelu Lukaku’s mum had to take his birth certificate to matches to prove the youngster’s age
And eagle-eyed Stamford Bridge fans are not happy with the broken vow, even though they averted a crisis by coming back to beat Watford at the weekend.
Bakayoko also revealed the reason he was so eager to leave Monaco for Antonio Conte’s side in the summer.
He said: “I’ve always dreamed about playing for certain clubs. Chelsea is one of those.

“Last season I looked out for them, watching and seeing how best I could play with them.
“I really thought they were the team in which I could express myself.
“The chance to work with Antonio Conte was one of the biggest reasons for coming.
"He’s a coach who has always believed in me and followed my progress from his days at Juve. So it’s natural that I would get the chance to play under him.”
