Chelsea boss Antonio Conte reveals family have joined him in London and denies wanting to leave for a return to Italy
Premier League winner has been linked with shock return to Italy and is a reported target for Serie A giants AC Milan
ANTONIO CONTE insists he's committed to Chelsea despite being linked with a return to Italy.
The Premier League title winner has also revealed his family have finally made the move to London and there are no plans to make a U-turn any time soon.
Despite enjoying a stunning debut season in England, it’s been claimed that Conte is unsettled at Stamford Bridge following an underwhelming summer transfer window.
Serie A giants AC Milan are said to be interested in making the ex-Juventus player their new boss.
While Inter Milan tried and failed to lure Conte to the San Siro at the end of the last campaign.
The fiery tactician has even been tipped for a stunning return to the Italy job, the last position he held before linking up with Chelsea.
Conte then appeared to light the fuse after he was quoted in an interview as saying he wanted to move back to his homeland.
But 48-year-old is adamant he’ll be staying put for the remainder of his two-year contract, saying: “I did an interview (about returning to Italy) and I am sure the translation was wrong.
“I said one day in the future I would like to go back. I have two years on my contract, I am happy to work with this club and my players. I like to have this great feeling with our fans.
“I don’t see a problem. I want to clarify my family stay here, not in Italy. My daughter goes to school here, when I want to write something I want the truth, my family stay here.
“Every coach when they start the work they want to stay for a long time and build something important. Our job is very difficult and very strange.”
