Crystal Palace latest news: Eagles receive huge boost as Wilfried Zaha edges closer to comeback for Chelsea clash
CRYSTAL PALACE finally look like getting some positive news as Wilfried Zaha appears to be on the verge of returning to action.
The flying winger has been absent for the struggling Eagles since the opening day of the season through injury.
Zaha, 24, had his knee brace removed last month after picking up the knock in the 3-0 home defeat to Huddersfield.
And now he looks to be closing in on a comeback for the Premier League's bottom club after returning to training last week.
And Tuesday he shared a snap on Twitter of him back out on the training pitch along with the caption: "Back with a ball at my feet, no better feeling."
Zaha's return will provide a massive boost for Palace and their boss Roy Hodgson after last season's top scorer was ruled out for six weeks.
Christian Benteke suffered a blow to his knee in the 5-0 thumping at Manchester City.
Palace are still to win a game or even score a goal this campaign.
Defeat at Burnley in their fourth league match brought and end to Frank de Boer's brief stint in charge.
Chairman Steve Parish decided to pull on the trigger and instead turn to former England chief Hodgson to revive the club.

But after losing his first match in charge the veteran then faced a nightmare run of fixtures against Manchester City and Manchester United.
And it gets no easy this weekend once the league action resumes after the international break.
The South London side welcome reigning champions and capital rivals Chelsea to Selhurst Park.
It might be too soon for Zaha to start, but he could comeback into the matchday squad.
His performances helped to keep Palace in the top-flight under Sam Allardyce last season.
He scored seven goals and provided nine assists to propel the Eagles to safety.
