PATRICE EVRA'S Instagram account is the gift that keeps on giving.

And now the former Manchester United left-back is at it again... by feeding his own baby pet lion.

The veteran defender is seen cradling his "little friend" whilst holding a bottle to his mouth.

Alongside the image, Evra writes the caption: "Good night my little friend need some milk. I love this game. #ilovethisgame #goodnight #lion #babywhitelion #positivevibes #milk"

Evra often keeps his three million Instagram followers on their toes with a string of unusual uploads.

Earlier this week he donned a Rastafarian hat and sang Bob Marley's 'One Love'.

And he is obviously not shy in getting up close and personal with animals after being pictured kissing a dolphin, talking to a camel and hugging a cheetah.

The 36-year-old left Italian champions Juventus to join Marseille in the summer as he enjoys the twilight of his career.

After notching 81 caps for France, Evra will be watching Les Bleus from the comfort of his own home as they face a World Cup qualifying double header.

The Euro 2016 runners-up face Bulgaria away before hosting Belarus.

France are top of their group and they know a win against Bulgaria will cement a World Cup play-off spot.
