Diego Costa trains with the Atletico Madrid first-team squad for the first time ahead of move
Forward had been taking part in individual sessions, but has now been integrated into the squad
DIEGO COSTA has trained with the Atletico Madrid first-team squad for the first time ahead of his January move.
The forward, 28, had been taking part in individual sessions, but has now been integrated into the squad.
Ex-Chelsea star Costa was seen being put through his paces on Friday morning as the team prepared for their La Liga clash with Leganes on Saturday.
However, Costa is still not eligible to play for Atleti until the club's January transfer ban is lifted.
The Spanish international hasn't played all season having been frozen out by Chelsea boss Antonio Conte during the summer.
Costa eventually got his move, rejoining Atleti in a £67million deal - having only left the club for the Blues in 2014 for a £32m fee.
Earlier this week, Costa started getting down to business back in the Spanish capital - as he kicked-off his training regime.
Atletico Madrid's posted Costa's workout on Instagram, captioned: "Diego Costa trained with the coaching staff.

Costa had hoped to make his return to Atletico this summer, but his plans were dashed when Fifa upheld the La Liga side's transfer ban.
Amazingly, Costa is allowed to train with the Madrid club... while Leicester new-boy Adrien Silva is NOT and can only watch training through a window.
Silva signed a 14 seconds after the transfer window slammed shut - and a month on, he has still not been cleared to turn out for the Foxes.
