After a slow start to the season, Steve Bruce's side are now climbing up the Championship table, and are unbeaten in six games.

And Terry celebrated with a picture alongside long-time wife Toni from their Surrey mansion.

Posting on her Instagram account, fitness fanatic Toni wrote: "Snuggles with my gorgeous hubby on a Sunday night."

The pair had a dog filter covering their faces and Toni was seen wearing a dressing gown, while former England skipper John wore a white T-shirt.

Terry has started every one of Villa's games this season and overcome a slow start to win over fans at Villa Park.

The 36-year-old was fuming last week as it was revealed his image had been used by an Indian cigarette company to sell their product.

"I hate smoking!!!"

John and Toni were also at Stamford Bridge last week for Chelsea's clash with Arsenal.

Sitting in Roman Abramovich's box, the couple - as well as their kids - were sat with A-list actors Channing Tatum and Mark Strong, and Kingsman director Matthew Vaughn.

NBA star Stephen Curry was also at the game, taking a penalty alongside JT in front of the Shed End.
