Paris Saint-Germain right-back Thomas Meunier has urged Eden Hazard to join him in France
Thomas Meunier has adopted a flattery approach in a bid to get his Belgium teammate to join him in at the Parc des Princes
EDEN HAZARD has been urged to join Paris Saint-Germain by his Belgium national teammate Thomas Meunier.
The midfielder first made his name in Ligue 1 with Lille before a £32million move to Stamford Bridge in 2012.
Right-back Meunier has now urged the 26-year-old to join him at the Parc des Princes - insisting Hazard is the equal of PSG's record signing Neymar.
The Brazilian superstar swapped Barcelona for the French capital in a £200m deal this summer.
Meunier, 26, declared: "Eden and Neymar are on the same level of ability.
"Neymar loves to have the ball at his feet, and to create situations on his own. Eden was like that when he first started out.
"To my mind Eden could play for PSG with his hands tied behind his back. It would be a fantastic transfer for us.
"He is in the group of truly great players alongside Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar, who have ability in their DNA."
