Neymar didn’t snub shirt-swap offer from Celtic teen Anthony Ralston, he promised to donate it to Kenny Dalglish’s charity
World's most-expensive footballer had already agreed to donate his shirt to the Martina Dalglish Appeal before match
KENNY DALGLISH has thanked Neymar for the amazing gesture of donating his shirt to the former Liverpool boss' charity.
The world's most-expensive footballer was widely criticised for appearing to refuse the 18-year-old Celtic defender Anthony Ralston at full-time of Paris Saint-Germain's 5-0 victory in Glasgow.
However, the reason for the "snub"was because the Brazilian was giving his shirt to the Marina Dalglish Appeal.
The charity, which has been set up by the Dalglish family, helps those diagnosed with breast cancer.
Neymar's shirt will be used to raise money at an upcoming event.
Ralston and the Brazilian superstar were involved in various heated confrontations throughout the night — with the Celtic ace laughing in his opponent's face at one point.
And, Neymar appeared to snub his opponent when offered with a handshake at full-time.
PSG were clear and deserved winners at Celtic Park, with their sensational front trio all on target.
Neymar opened the scoring before Kylian Mbappe added a second.
