JUVENTUS are reportedly lining up a shock January swoop for Chelsea star Pedro.
The Italians are believed to be searching for a new No.10 to play behind Paulo Dybala and Gonzalo Higuain.
Miralem Pjanic has tried and failed to make the role his own, with Massimo Allegri looking for a speedy technician who can make darting runs between the lines.
Bayern Munich ace Thomas Muller is believed to be on Juventus’ radar, with loanee Douglas Costa also hoping for a shot in the position.
But Tuttosport via Talksport claims the Serie A champions have identified Pedro as their top choice to sit at the top of Allegri’s midfield diamond.
However, the versatile attacker is said to be happy at Stamford Bridge after finally settling down in London.
Pedro’s netted 21 goals and racked up 16 assists during two seasons at Chelsea, helping them lift the Premier League title last term.
And Antonio Conte apparently has no intention of letting him go, especially midway through the campaign.

But Juventus are determined to make their new four-man defence work, abandoning three at the back after selling Leonardo Bonucci to AC Milan.
There are also further options in midfield now, with Blaise Matuidi arriving late in the window from Paris Saint-Germain.
However, Chelsea are unlikely to entertain the thought of sanctioning Pedro’s exit to Juve, especially after they were prevented from signing Alex Sandro from Turin over the summer.
