Reds to allow Belgian youngster to head out on season-long loan in order to tempt Ligue 1 champions into selling winger

LIVERPOOL officials have flown out to Monaco to thrash out a £74million deal for Thomas Lemar... with Divock Origi part of the move.

The Reds are willing to allow the Belgian youngster to head out on a season-long loan to tempt the Ligue 1 champions.

Sources in France are now claiming Liverpool are in Monaco in order to complete the deal, as they seem set to beat Arsenal to Lemar's signature.

The French club rejected a bid earlier this week from Jurgen Klopp's Reds for the winger.

But the increased transfer fee and the addition of versatile forward Origi could be the clincher.

Monaco have also seen Bernardo Silva, Benjamin Mendy and Tiemoue Bakayoko leave the club, to name a few, with Kylian Mbappe also set to join Paris Saint-Germain.

However, the recent additions of Keita Balde and Stevan Jovetic have seen the Ligue 1 champs more willing to part with Lemar, 21.

Liverpool will need to move fast though, as Lemar is currently away on international duty with France for their World Cup qualifier with Holland.

Therefore the Reds will need to act quickly to finalise the deal before the transfer window slams shut on Thursday night.

Should Liverpool complete the deal, it would be the second time this week alone they would have broken their transfer record.

Earlier this week, the Reds revealed they had signed long-term target Naby Keita for a club-record fee.

However, the Red Bull Leipzig star won't link up with the Anfield club until next summer.
