Leicester City goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel has saved MORE Premier League penalties at Old Trafford than dad and Manchester United idol Peter
LEICESTER CITY goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel has now saved MORE Premier League penalties at Old Trafford than his dad Peter.
The Foxes' Danish stopper kept-out Romelu Lukaku's effort on Saturday evening, in a 2-0 defeat away to Manchester United.
The stop was Kasper's first-ever penalty save at the "Theatre Of Dreams" - but incredibly, is one more than ex-United legend Peter managed.
Schmeichel Snr never managed to save a spot-kick at his home ground in EIGHT seasons at the club - despite winning an incredible five times.
Both Schmeichels however, can boast a Premier League title victory, after Leicester won the top flight in the most exceptional of circumstances in 2015-16.
It would appear Kasper has something of a knack for saving penalties, too.
The younger Dane has now saved THREE of his last five spot-kicks in all competitions for Leicester.
In fact, only one goalkeeper in Premier League history has saved more penalties at Old Trafford than Schmeichel Jnr... David De Gea.

The Spanish stopper has kept out two penalties at the stadium - one against Arsenal in 2011 and another against Everton in 2014.
Meanwhile, three other United No1s have saved a sole spot-kick: Mark Bosnich, Fabien Barthez and Tomasz Kuszczak.
Including Schmeichel Jnr, only 14 goalkeepers have saved a penalty on Man United's own turf, including Artur Boruc, Pepe Reina and Carlo Cudicini.
