LIVERPOOL manager Jurgen Klopp produced a hilarious gaffe while being interviewed on Sky Sports.

The Reds boss was speaking to reporter Geoff Shreeves after the team's thumping 4-0 win over Arsenal at Anfield.

But a giddy Klopp obviously didn't realise he was live on TV - talking about Sky's main rival BT Sport during the interview.

After saying that Philippe Coutinho was still not for sale, Klopp then hinted that the media were the ones doing the talking.

He said: "Somebody who is at... what is it BT or Sky?"

Shreeves, his heart shattered into a thousand pieces after realising Klopp doesn't remember who he works for, then replies: "Sky Sports."

Klopp, then jokingly excited and looking directly into the camera, says: "Sky!

"Sorry! We can cut BT out."

The German was clearly delighted with the performance his team put in at Anfield.

Arsenal were dreadful, conceding four very simple goals, but Liverpool put the visitors to the sword and never looked like conceding.

The Gunners didn't even manage a shot on target.

Klopp said: "We were very good, and so far we have learned from each game and built on it.

"It was even better than against Hoffenheim, but it was already very good. There was pressure on the boys and we wanted to show our desire to do something special and the boys did very well.

"If you give Arsenal time and space and opportunities then you’ve already lost before the game starts. We had to learn to feel the pain in the game but to ignore it.

"It was overall a really good performance and well deserved.

"It’s very important the clean sheet, with all the discussions about the defence. The result is the result of the performance."
