And La Gazzetta dello Sport say the former Bayer Leverkusen star will move to Italy when his contract runs out next summer.

Can has had a mixed time in his three years with Liverpool.

But the 23-year-old's pedigree is undoubted.

Can's ability to play in both mid-pitch and the centre of defence make him an attractive propsect for current Serie A champs Juve.

Before that, Juventus boss Max Allegri wants to strengthen the squad for another serious assault on the Champions League.

And Klopp has been revamping his Reds squad as he too plans for Europe's top club competition.

Juventus, though, might need to pay around £27million for Can, who has 15 caps.

Allegri is thought to prefer Can to other potential signings Blaise Matuidi and Axel Witsel.

And he is prepared to bide his time for the right player after losing star midfielders Paul PogbaAndrea Pirlo, and Arturo Vidal since reaching the 2015 Champions League final.
