According to France Football, Les Parisiens have submitted an official offer, believing this should tempt the FA Cup champions into doing business, with the Mirror also confirming the reports.

Sanchez only has a year left on his deal at the Emirates, with the 28-year-old previously stating his intention of playing for a club in the Champions League.

SunSport understands the former Barcelona winger has already held talks with the Coupe de France victors at a plus Paris hotel to talk to the club's sporting director Antero Henrique.

Speaking of the rumours he was in France in a bid to seal a move, Wenger strenuously denied the claims, as well as declaring he has not asked to leave.

He said: "No, I don’t think he was in Paris. No.

"He has not asked to leave. PSG cannot get Sanchez, so they are going for Neymar.
