Manchester United hopes of landing Ivan Perisic boosted as Inter Milan ace ‘tells agent he wants Premier League move’
United were ready to end their interest in the Croatia international over Inter's £40million valuation
IVAN PERISIC still wants a move to Manchester United.
The Inter Milan ace has given his agent the green light to try and engineer a switch to Old Trafford.
United were ready to end their interest in the Croatia international over Inter's £40m valuation.
The Serie A club managed to hold off any Uefa sanctions after scraping together the £26 million they needed.
Although there is a no longer a need to sell Perisic, the player is keen on the move.
And, according to Goal, Perisic is ready to force Inter's hand.
Should he tell them he wants to leave, they may be forced to flog a player whose heart is not at the San Siro.
SunSport revealed in March that Jose Mourinho had flown to Zagreb to oversee the deal.
But the United boss reckons he can get the player for well under Inter's valuation.
Perisic, 28, has agreed a £100,000-a-week deal in principle.
