Arturo Vidal urges ‘spectacular’ Alexis Sanchez to leave Arsenal for ‘best club in the world’ Bayern Munich

Gunners striker has been quiet over summer move but it is clear his Chile team-mate thinks he knows what is best

ALEXIS SANCHEZ has been urged by Arturo Vidal to ditch Arsenal for "best club in the world" Bayern Munich.

The Chile star labelled his international team-mate and Gunners striker "spectacular" and told him where he should move this summer.

But Vidal, currently on duty with Sanchez in the Confederations Cup in Russia, wants the electrifying hitman in Germany.

And he has made no bones about how desperate he is for Sanchez to ditch the Prem.

He said: "We'll see if Alexis is coming, I do not know yet.

"I know him very well. He is a spectacular player. And with him, we would surely improve.

"We already have a lot of top-level playters. We are the best club in the world."

Sanchez recently played it coy while asked by a German reporter if he would join Carlo Ancelotti's side.

The forward reportedly grinned and replied simply: "No."

But there are still a number of factors which could change Sanchez's mind.

Front and foremost of which must be the fact Arsenal could be in danger of breaking Premier League wage rules by giving their star man a bumper new deal.

Or maybe Vidal's glowing words will do enough to sway him.

The midfielder, talking about a conversation with club chiefs, said last month: "When they asked me about Sanchez, I said they had to sign him.

"He's an incredible player but he needs to take the final step."
