Alexis Sanchez wanted by Bayern Munich as Arturo Vidal reveals he’s told board to sign Arsenal star at all costs
Gunners ace has just a year left on his contract and looks likely to leave as Gunners miss out on Champions League
ARTURO VIDAL admits he is encouraging Bayern Munich to sign compatriot Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal.
The pair are formidable when playing together for the Chilean national team.
But Vidal wants to relationship to extend to club level and is pushing the Bayern board to pull out all the stops this summer.
Sanchez is reportedly set to leave Arsenal after their failure to qualify for the Champions League.
He has just a year remaining on his current contract, and Vidal is hopeful Bayern can beat the likes of Chelsea and Manchester City to Sanchez’s signature.
Vidal said: “Bayern have asked me about Alexis and I’ve always told them that he is the player who should come here.
“I would like Alexis at Bayern. He is doing well at Arsenal but I think he has to take a step up and fight with the best in the world.
