ARSENAL fans had cause to rage on social media as Middlesbrough's Patrick Bamford was denied a seemingly legitimate penalty.

The Englishman was brought down by Liverpool's Dejan Lovren in the early stages of both sides' last Premier League games of the season.

And the 23-year-old attacker looked to have been dragged down by the Reds' defender, who was the last man back with Bamford clean through on goal.
