Defender received his marching orders in the 14th minute with his side 1-0 up at the Emirates but now misses Wembley final

ARSENAL star Laurent Koscielny will miss the FA Cup final against Chelsea after being shown a straight red card in today's Premier League clash with Everton.

The defender received his marching orders with just 14 minutes on the clock at the Emirates.

Arsenal are currently 1-0 up against Everton thanks to an eight-minute goal from Hector Bellerin, giving them a decent chance of pipping Liverpool to the final Champions League spot.

But Arsene Wenger will be without key defender Koscielny for next weekend's cup final at Wembley, surely handing a boost to champions Chelsea and their boss Antonio Conte.

And their task of securing a win against the Toffees has been made even harder as they look to secure an unlikely top four finish in the final day of the season.

Koscielny is a key player for the Gunners after making 290 appearances in seven years.

After a shaky start, he is now regarded as one of the best centre-backs in the league and is a regular starter for France.

However, Arsenal fans may have seen the last of Koscielny in their famous red shirt altogether.

Reports from across the water claim the 31-year-old is wanted by ambitious Marseille, who appear to be on a quest to sign experienced French players.

Whether Koscielny fancies a move away from the Emirates remains to be seen, but his decision could hinge on Wenger's future.

Talks are expected with the board straight after the FA Cup final, making the game a must-win for the veteran gaffer.
