Alexis Sanchez WILL be at Arsenal next season – and could sign new deal with Gunners, says Arsene Wenger

ARSENE WENGER hailed his “animal” Cup hero Alexis Sanchez and insisted he WILL be at Arsenal next season.

The Chilean match-winner is likely to be coveted by the world’s top clubs this summer, with Manchester City leading the chase.

But Arsenal boss Wenger says Sanchez will stay and see out the final year of his contract — and could yet sign another deal at the Emirates.

After the former Barcelona man clinched a place in the FA Cup final against Chelsea with an extra-time goal in the 2-1 win, he earned a glowing tribute from his boss.

Wenger said: “Alexis Sanchez was like the team, he had problems to start with and became stronger and stronger.

“He is an animal, always ready to kill the opponent. He will never give up.

“He will be here next year because he has a contract with us and hopefully we will manage to extend it."
