Terry still open to lucrative move to China and is yet to make a decision over his next club after quitting Chelsea

The former England captain will leave Stamford Bridge in the summer because he still feels he has more years left in him as a player.

The inspirational defender is a huge star out in the Far East after a career spent playing at the highest level for club and country.

He has even embarked on personal promotional tours in China such is his popularity, and despite his age would still be seen as a major signing by clubs in the country.

Terry could net a deal in the CSL worth £300,000-a-week for the next two years - far more than he could command if he moved anywhere else.

Should the defender stay in the Premier League then he would have to accept a huge drop in salary, with both West Brom and Bournemouth unlikely to be able to pay more than £60,000-a-week.

Terry is understood to be split between continuing in England near his family, or experiencing playing abroad with the middle east and America also potential destinations.

But the lure of playing in China and finishing his career with a £15million payday is one that is still hard to turn down.
