Chelsea are next to guaranteed Champions League football next term and will not have the luxury of one game a week next season.
And that is a fact not lost on Antonio Conte, who is looking to add genuine quality to his West London ranks, as well as get enough cover for a congested fixture list.
Conte is understood to want to clear out some of his Chelsea squad, with promising youngster Dominic Solanke set for the exit.
Meanwhile the Blues are understood to be interested in Torino ace Andrea Belotti along with Bayern Munich and Arsenal as well as Atalanta midfielder Franck Kessie.
