The Red Devils will be forced to wait until December 17 before they can field England centre-back Chris Smalling, who is still recovering from a broken toe.

Spurs will likewise be strengthened by the return of 23-year-old Welsh international Ben Davies.

The defender has been sidelined with an ankle injury picked up during his side's 1-0 Champions League loss to Bayer Leverkusen in early November. Davies is reported to have since fully rehabilitated the injury.

Tottenham are likely to once again be without Dutch striker Vincent Janssen, who is also struggling with an ankle injury.
