TOTTENHAM are already lining up their first move for the January transfer window - with Fiorentina midfielder Milan Badelj on Mauricio Pochettino's radar.

The Croatian ace, 27, has been at the Serie A side since 2014 - playing four times against Spurs in the Europa League in the previous two seasons, both in the last-32 stage.

Fact me - Milan Badelj

Age: 27
Club: Fiorentina
Position: Midfielder
Appearances: 51
Goals: 3
Previous clubs: Hamburg, Dinamo Zagreb
Transfer value: £7million

Badelj has been a target of AC Milan in recent months, but it's Poch's Spurs - who beat Middlesbrough 2-1 on Saturday - who now lead the race for the £7million-rated central midfielder.

The Florence-based star has just shy of two years to run on his current deal at the club - which expires in June 2018.

Fiorentina may therefore consider cashing in on Badelj before his value is driven down by the passage of time.
