The Clarets boss was overjoyed when his side moved up to fourth in the Premier League after beating Stoke City
SEAN DYCHE was "the proudest man in Proudsville" when Burnley climbed to fourth in the Premier League after beating Stoke City.
And Clarets supporters have now celebrated his comment by putting up a hilarious sign in the local area.
The sign proudly reads 'Proudsville' in bold capital letters, with a small Burnley badge placed just above.
Chris Boden, sports editor at the Burnley Express, tweeted: "Drove in to the Turf past Towneley, whoever has put the Proudsville sign up deserves a medal."
After his side beat the Potters 1-0, Dyche said: "The fans and the town have got to enjoy these times, why wouldn't you?
"The league doesn't lie, it's unpredictable, but we've earned the right to be where we are.
"I'm proud of it, the proudest man in Proudsville. I'm proud of all of it.
"There's enough people saying good things, but I try to keep a sense of reality, because this division will eat you alive.
