GRAEME SOUNESS reveals he supports and has a season ticket at Bournemouth not Liverpool.

The 64-year-old spent six seasons at the Merseyside club, in that period picking up an impressive 14 trophies.

Souness also managed Liverpool for three seasons between 1991 and 1994, but surprisingly his allegiances lie with another Premier League side as well.

While on duty for Sky before Bournemouth's home clash against Liverpool he said: “You end up becoming a Bournemouth supporter, like I am.

“I want them to do well, I live in the town. I get frustrated about it.”

The Scot admitted “I’m a season ticket holder here,” but wasn't afraid to be critical of Eddie Howe's side.

“I think he [Howe] is a little bit naive at times. I think in their 29 games against the top six in the Premier League they’ve won three."

Souness said: “I think it’s okay wanting to go out to play football from the first minute to the last but when you play the better teams, that’s what they do.

"So you’re taking on the better teams at what they’re good at."
