La Liga write to Uefa requesting Manchester City be investigated over Financial Fair Play breaches
Spanish top-flight are also urging Uefa to expand it's newly-launched probe into whether Paris Saint-Germain have breached FFP rules
MANCHESTER CITY are in the clear over Financial Fair Play — despite a complaint from Spain.
La Liga president Javier Tebas wrote to Uefa about City’s spending, with Paris Saint-Germain under the microscope already.

The Etihad club blew £213million on players this summer alone.
A Uefa statement said: “There is no investigation into Manchester City with regard to FFP. Any reports mentioning such an investigation are unsubstantiated.”
City have spread the cost of stars such as Kyle Walker (£45m), Benjamin Mendy (£49.3m) and Bernardo Silva (£43m) over five years.
They generated £25m from the sale of Kelechi Iheanacho to Leicester, while also cashing in on other fringe players.
So City’s bean-counters were convinced they had no case to answer — even making a £60m bid for Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez on deadline day.
PSG smashed the world-record to land Brazil ace Neymar for £198m, while agreeing to sign Kylian Mbappe for £162m next summer after taking the France striker on loan.

Tebas said in his letter to Uefa: “PSG and Man City’s funding by state-aid has distorted European competitions.
“And it creates an inflationary spiral that is irreparably harming the football industry.
“Uefa must enforce FFP regulations to avoid discrimination among clubs. PSG is a habitual offender.”
