Crystal Palace 0 Swansea 2 – HIGHLIGHTS: Tammy Abraham grabs first Premier League goal as Jordan Ayew strike piles pressure on Frank De Boer

AT last – Premier League goals at Selhurst Park.

But there was no joy for Palace fans as Tammy Abraham fired Swansea ahead just before half-time before Jordan Ayew made it 2-0 three minutes after the break.

Abraham’s goal was the game’s first shot on target and just to rub it in, Swansea’s first goal of the season.

Manager Frank de Boer and his Eagles players were booed off at half-time by home fans frustrated by the failings of the new system brought in by the Dutch boss, which has failed to produce a Premier League goal for the Eagles.

The Swans showed how it should be done when Kyle Naughton and Sam Clucas played a one-two on the right before £15million new boy Clucas set up Leroy Fer for a cross that found Abraham on the edge of the six-yard box.

Sub Martin Kelly, on for injured defender James Tomkins, had been on the field for just two minutes and had hardly had time to get into the game.

It showed as he totally failed to get to grips with Abraham as the Chelsea loanee slid in with a smart finish.

Kelly almost made up for that goal seconds after the restart when his header forced Swans keeper Lukasz Fabianski into a diving goal line save.

But the Palace man’s misery was doubled as the Swans went 2-0 up.

Kelly moved to gather Abraham’s loose pass near the half-way line but was robbed by Naughton, who set up Jordan Ayew for a run on goal with the home defence wrong-footed.

Home keeper Wayne Hennessey rushed off his line but Ayew calmly drifted past him and saw the ball into the net.

Palace hammered away at the Swans, who pulled nine men back to defend their lead.

But apart from a string of long-range shots and a couple of desperate penalty shouts, it just wasn’t happening for De Boer’s men.
