The Spaniard is desperate to leave the Gunners this summer having failed to break into the first-team.
DEPORTIVO LA CORUNA boss Pepe Mel has revealed that Arsenal forward Lucas Perez could be a La Coruna player as soon as next week.
The Spaniard is desperate to leave the Gunners this summer having failed to break into the first-team.
The 28-year-old was frustrated by Arsene Wenger's decision to recruit France international Alexandre Lacazette and slammed Wenger for giving Lacazette his no.9 shirt.
The Gunners are demanding a £20 million for the Spaniard that they signed last summer.
The north London club reportedly rejected a £10m bid for Lucas Perez from his former club.
The Evening Standard reports that Deportivo's president Tino Fernandez has promised Lucas to Mel.
The former West Brom boss said: "Tino Fernandez has told me that Lucas Perez will be here next week, and he is very stubborn.
“I have no choice but to believe him.”

Perez joined the Gunners at the end of last season for £18.1m (€20m), with part of the proceeds from his release clause paid to former club PAOK.
Lucas scored 17 goals in 37 appearances for La Coruna during the 2015-16 season.
But the Spaniard made just two Premier League starts for the Gunners, featuring a further nine times off the bench, scoring once against Bournemouth in a 3-3 draw.
His other six goals, including a Champions League hat-trick against FC Basel, came in the EFL Cup and FA Cup.
