Jose Mourinho to continue living in luxury Lowry hotel next season but Manchester United boss will have dinner delivered after growing tired of being pictured
Club have confirmed that the boss will make the five-star complex his home again for the upcoming season
MANCHESTER UNITED boss Jose Mourinho is hoping for a finger-licking campaign at Old Trafford next season.
Mourinho will reportedly take up residence again this season in the five star Lowry Hotel after opting against buying a house in the Manchester area.
The Special one will be using online food service Deliveroo this season to cater for his culinary needs, according to Mirror Sport.
It emerged last season Mourinho sent out for takeaways from Manchester’s finest eateries to avoid being bombarded by the paparazzi every time he left the complex.
Mourinho is said to have become fed up being followed and photographed whenever he left the hotel to have a meal in the city with his staff after a long day at the training ground.
The 54-year-old is understood to be staying in one of the hotel's six luxury Riverside suites - which cost guests an average of £816 per night.
However, the Manchester United manager is believed to have a greatly-reduced rate due to his long-term stay.
Despite the bosses decision against buying his own place, the United officials have no concerns about his long-term commitment.
Manchester United transfer news
A United insider told Sunday People Sport: “Jose likes living in the centre of Manchester and is happy at The Lowry now.
"Understandably, though, he doesn't want to eat out every night.
"That's why on occasions he will bring the restaurants to him with Deliveroo for a bit of variety. Having that option has made it more feasible to live in the city centre."
The Reds have upgraded from the fast food of the Europa League to the fine dining of the Champions League and have added Romelu Lukaku and Victor Lindelof to next season’s menu.
