Jose Mourinho left the dugout and donned his goalkeeper gloves to take part in the #Game4Grenfell charity match at Loftus Road on Saturday,

The Manchester United boss was signed up to feature for Alan Shearer's side which faced Les Ferdinand's team in a match to raise money for those affected by the devastating Grenfell Tower fire in June.

Mourinho was called into the action in the 63rd minute, replacing former England No 1 David James in between the sticks.

And he was straight into the action, bravely coming off his line to punch clear a corner before confidently watching a shot from Marc Bircham fly past the post.

Mourinho then blotted his copybook, receiving a caution for time wasting before conceding an equaliser to Kasabian's Chris Edwards - much to the frustration of the United boss.

The game finished 2-2 so went to penalties, and Mourinho scored with his own spot-kick before taking his goalkeeping halfway through, but he failed to save a single penalty as pop star Olly Murs scored the winning penalty as Team Ferdinand went on to secure a 5-3 shoot-out victory.
