QPR have agreed a deal to sign Northern Ireland U21 winger Paul Smyth from Linfield, according to Sky sources.

He also featured for Linfield in the Champions League qualifiers against Celtic in July, with the Scottish Champions advancing thanks to a 6-0 aggregate win.

Smyth was invited to join the Northern Ireland squad at Euro 2016 by manager Michael O'Neill in order to gain experience and boost numbers in training.
