Palace were beaten by Sadio Mane's 73rd-minute strike at Anfield, with the Eagles now without a point from their opening two Premier League games.

Matt Le Tissier analyses Liverpool's win over Crystal Palace in the Premier League.

He told Sky Sports: "I think we played almost 90 minutes very concentrated, very solid. Of course we played deeper than we'd normally want, but we know the opponent we face today.

"I'm happy with the spirit, not happy with the result, but I think we can build from here. We played as a team, that's what I saw today, and it gives me hope for the future."

"We are always looking, and of course there has to be quality for the squad, and if the possibility comes along we're going to do that."
