Doncaster v Gillingham preview

Doncaster will be without summer signing Alex Kiwomya for their home game against Gillingham.

Former Chelsea striker Kiwomya, who signed a three-year deal with newly-promoted Rovers in June, is expected to be out for two months due to a back-related calf injury.

Ross Etheridge will be out for another three months as he recovers from a broken ankle sustained during training in early July, but fellow goalkeeper Ian Lawlor is expected to shake off a knock.

Latest signings Issam Ben Khemis and Rodney Kongolo are both in contention, as are fellow summer recruits Niall Mason, Ben Whiteman and Danny Andrew.

New additions Conor Wilkinson and Alex Lacey will be part of the Gillingham squad that travels to the Keepmoat Stadium despite carrying injuries.

Striker Wilkinson, who arrived from Bolton on a two-year deal, is suffering with an ankle issue while Lacey (knee) will face a late fitness test.

Aaron Morris remains a long-term absentee for the Gills with a knee problem.
