Chelsea vs. Roma live stream: Time, TV channel, and how to watch Champions League online

Chelsea want to keep their good Champions League form rolling.

Chelsea aren’t quite off to the start to the Premier League season that they wanted, but the Champions League has been a different story altogether. They’re the only team in Group C with two wins in the first two matches of the group, and with AS Roma coming to Stamford Bridge, they’ll be looking to keep that run going as long as they can.

But Roma might not be so easy to put down. They’ve been one of the better sides in Serie A this season, pairing a tough defense with a lightning-quick attack, and riding that to a recent five-match winning streak in all competitions. That run came to an abrupt end last weekend at the hands of Napoli — who just lost to Manchester City in the Champions League — but it helped them overcome a poor start to the season fueled by injuries and shaky opening form.

Now relatively healthy, Roma will be hoping to find a way to upend Chelsea and put on a serious challenge to them in the Champions League, but if anyone can stop them, it will be Chelsea manager Antonio Conte. He knows them and their manager, Eusebio Di Francesco, well, and you can bet that he’s got a very specific game plan in mind to defeat Francesco’s trademark tactics.

Chelsea are dealing with a quarter of injuries, with Danny Drinkwater, N’Golo Kanté, and Victor Moses all out, plus Álvaro Morata carrying a minor injury that will likely see him start the match on the bench. AS Roma have a few injuries as well, with two forwards out in Patrik Schick and Grégoire Defrel, plus defender Kostas Manolas.
