The Miami Dolphins and New Orleans Saints are the next two teams to head to Wembley Stadium in London this season, which means an early 9 a.m. ET start for their game on FOX (live stream via Fox Sports GO).

New Orleans is in serious need of a win as they are at the bottom of the NFC South division with a 1-2 record. The Atlanta Falcons lead that division with an undefeated 3-0, so wins against beatable teams like the Dolphins are sorely needed.

Miami is 1-1 due to their Week 1 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers being moved in the wake of Hurricane Irma. They are currently third in the AFC East and are coming off a disappointing loss to the New York Jets in their last outing.

The Saints, on the other hand, are coming off their first win of the year, a 34-13 drubbing of the rival Carolina Panthers. They have losses to the Minnesota Vikings and New England Patriots, and have a tough upcoming schedule against three of the four NFC North teams.

Miami faces the beatable Tennessee Titans in their next outing, and then will see the Falcons, who have a solid chance of still being undefeated at that point.

Drew Brees and Jay Cutler are the quarterbacks for this matchup, and they’ve had fairly different seasons thus far. Brees has completed 68.5 percent of his passes for 867 yards with six touchdowns and no interceptions. Cutler has completed 64.9 percent of his passes for 450 yards with just two touchdowns and an interception.

Below is all you need to know to watch the action on Sunday morning, as well as news and updated odds.

Time, TV channel, and streaming info

  • Time: 9 a.m. ET
  • Location: Wembley Stadium, London, UK
  • TV: FOX
  • Streaming: Fox Sports Go
  • Odds: The Saints opened as narrow 1.5-point favorites, but most books quickly widened that gap to 2.5-to-3 points.

Saints vs. Dolphins news:

  • One of the bigger storylines for the Dolphins has been the team-imposed suspension of Lawrence Timmons for disappearing. His suspension has since been lifted, and apparently he will be eligible to play on Sunday against the Saints.
  • Another off-field incident is in the news for the Dolphins, as it was recently confirmed that no charges will be filed against wide receiver Jarvis Landry for a domestic incident.
  • Injuries have been a big issue for the Saints running game, but as noted by Canal Street Chronicles, the passing game has been able to pick up the slack.

Because of the injuries to Terron Armstead and Zach Strief, the running game has gotten off to a slow start, and Brees has been forced to release the ball earlier than normal. With that being said, the offense has still been able to move the ball. Brees and Michael Thomas have continued to show their great connection from last year, and Coby Fleener has been playing well. Add Willie Snead to that and you will start to see the high-powered passing attack we are accustomed to seeing.

Saints vs. Dolphins prediction:

Of the eight experts making picks for SB Nation, four think the Dolphins will win and four think the Saints will win. They’re split, but the Odds Shark computer is siding with New Orleans to break the tie.

NFL celebrations are fun again. FINALLY.
