Conor McGregor can’t figure out which Premier League team he supports, insults Everton anyway

Fighter may not know the difference between Liverpool and Manchester United

A man who gets punched in the head for a living seems to have trouble knowing the difference between teams that wear Red in the English Premier League. Despite recently saying that he was a Manchester United fan, McGregor in a recent Merseyside interview shouted that he was a Red and yelled an expletive out at Everton.

Many have taken this to mean that the Irishman supports Liverpool FC, but perhaps we could theorize that he just does not know the difference between the two clubs. Who could blame him? Both clubs wear red and are far below their historical heights of glory, both have coaches famous for what they did at other clubs but who have yet to truly make a mark there...

We should really go easy on the man, it takes a true level of class to be an Evertonian and you have to appreciate the self awareness involved in accepting that you simply do not possess the level of sophistication necessary for the task. We can only hope that someone takes the time to explain to him in very small words the difference between a liver bird and a red devil. Actually, come to think of it, that can actually be a little bit tricky.
