Everton’s busy summer of recruitment looks set to continue with a deal for young QPR winger Josh Bowler.

Sky Sports News are reporting that the Toffees are hopeful of reaching an agreement with QPR for the 18-year-old.

Everton have already had an initial offer of £1.5m and second offer worth £1.5m plus add-ons rejected by the London club.

However, talks are continuing and it looks increasingly likely that Bowler will soon be Goodison bound.

Bowler joined QPR in 2013 after being released by his first club Fulham. The teenager only signed his first professional contract in February this year and made his QPR debut in the 4-0 defeat at Norwich City on the final day of the Championship season.

As well as bolstering the first team squad Everton also remain keen to strengthen the U23 side, who lifted the Premier League 2 title last season.

They have already brought in Dutch defender Nathangelo Markelo from Dutch second division side FC Volendam with Bowler now likely to follow.
